|Time to sweat!|
Orienthus and I started workout challenges last month. We are going to the gym more regularly now (and loving it!) but we feel like it's important to change things every once in awhile. So, we wrote some workout and diet challenges on small pieces of paper and put them in a mason jar. Every weekend, we draw out a piece and that is our challenge for the week. Last week, the cross fit challenge about killed me! LOL We chose 5 exercises and did 4 sets of those for 4 days last week. Ugh! I am so glad that's over!!!

This week, our challenge is about thinking before you eat certain foods. The piece of paper we pulled out said "No Red Meat Challenge", but that's not what I want to talk about here. I am definitely NOT a diet or exercise expert. But, I can say that from experience, what you eat can make or break your workout.
So, this week, I want you to pay close attention to what your are fueling your body with. Are you getting enough fluids before and during your workouts? (Diet Coke doesn't count!) Are you eating the right kinds of foods to sustain you through your workouts? If you want extra bonus points, you can even keep a journal. Every day, write down what you eat and then, after your workout, take notes about it. What did you do? How did you feel before, during, and after your workout? Was it difficult for you to get through?
